Are YOU Really 100% Healthy

According to The World Health Organization (WHO) in its 1948 constitution health is defined as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”

Mental health is then defined as a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.

Physical fitness is also said to be a general state of health and well-being; more specifically, the ability to perform aspects of sports, occupations and daily activities. Physical fitness is generally achieved through proper nutrition, moderate-vigorous physical exercise and sufficient rest.

A Healthy Person;
The characteristics of a healthy person include a high level of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, a low resting heart rate, balanced muscular strength, a high level of cardiovascular fitness and being happy in work and home life.

World Health Organization (WHO); its Role in World Health?
All WHO aims for is to build a better and healthier future for people all over the world no matter the race and age. Working through offices in more than 150 countries, WHO’s staffs work side by side with governments and other partners to ensure the highest attainable level of health for all people.
Together WHO strive to combat diseases ranging from infectious diseases like influenza and HIV to non-communicable ones like cancer and several heart diseases. WHO help mothers and children survive and thrive so they can look forward to a healthy old age. At the same time, this body ensures the safety of the air people breathe, the food they eat, the water they drink and the medicines and vaccines they need.
WHO came into force on 7th April 1948; a date we now celebrate yearly as World Health Day and presently, there are over 7000+ people working in 150 country offices, with 6 regional offices and its headquarters in Geneva.

Reading the above statements from WHO, that any person can be termed healthy only when he/she has a perfect condition in all five areas below:
 Physical appearance
 Mental embodiments
 Spiritually
 Economically and
 Socially
